For as many years as our dear departed Queen has ruled the United Kingdom, I have been creating stories. Most of them bad, some good, and some more recently - readable.

I joined an on-line writing community a few years ago and finally understood how to put words together and make others want to read them.

Over the years I have submitted manuscripts to half the publishers in the UK and many agents listed in the Artists’ and Writers’ Yearbook. (noticed the perfect placement of the apostrophes?). Blind to the potential Harry Potter level of phenomenon they held in their hands, they turned me down, or (mostly) didn't respond at all.

2020 was a terrible year for the world, but it provided one gem of good luck for me, when a publisher thought my submission deserved a full read.

Mr Panama was suitable for publishing. I signed a contract.

This is the start of a voyage that led me to self-publish anything I had that was readable. So far that amounts to 16 novels.
